Here are the mods that the previous owner of my truck has made.
1. Lund BugShield. Also notice the Dodge-logo license plate, which I installed.
2. Lund Vent Visors (including totally cosmetic, non-functional ones mounted to the rear CC windows. Also, they are the type that's mounted with double-sided tape. Yuck! If these fail, I'll replace them with the ones that snap into the window track)
3. "BackRack" Headache Rack. A rather beefy rack. I'm happy with it. The previous owner had a matching toolbox mounted to the rack, but the dealer sold it separately to someone with the same rack. :-(
4. Diamond-plate bed and tailgate rail protectors. They function well, plus add no holes or tape to the truck, it appears. They seem to be secured in place solely by the BackRack at the front of the bed and the tie-down eye hooks at the back.
Mods I made:
Note: the Dodge decal and crutch tube photos are displayed in full, thus, they are not linked.
1. Dodge Motorsports decals. I saw a Neon with them mounted beneath the door handles, and it looked cool, so that's where I mounted them. I think I made the right choice.
2. Dodge Motorsports Steering Wheel cover. I saw this at an auto parts store, and grabbed it up. The previous owner didn't use a cover, and as a result, my steering wheel is faded from black to gray in places. I think it loooks much better (and cooler!) with the cover.
3. My "Rocket Launchers." A Stainless Steel tube mounted to either side of the bed, used to hold my crutches while I drive - The only mod my truck has undergone because of my disability. :-)
4. CD/MP3 player sound system. (Note: Click on the picture of my head unit to go to the pages detailing my sound system.)
Consisting of a Jensen MP-3310 CD/MP3 Receiver (45x4 watts), and Pioneer 120w speakers.
160 songs on one CD isn't bad at all :-)
5. Bulldog RS-82 Remote Starter. Starts the truck, and lets it run for 15 minutes, with the push of a button. Shuts the truck off if someone gets in and steps on the brake, without the key in the ignition and turned to run, or if the hood is opened. Also has a "pit stop" feature that allows me to push the start button before turning the ignition off, and the truck will run for 15 minutes, incorporating security features listed above. Useful for quick jaunts into the store in less-than-perfect neighborhoods.
